My last RSS item was inaccurate. The airshow was "Thunder OVER Michigan." Anyway, now I'm presenting a very short series (4 pictures) from the Swift Run dog-park. One of those places where, in the spring and fall, I always say "I should've brought my camera." This time I did.

Compiled

I gathered together a bunch of photos that had no real home. In general I'm becoming more organized with them. Check out "Abstract Arm" in this album. If you view it in the largest size it's kind of interesting because it's not clear what it is. At least not to me.

Sister City

Once again, my job took me to Leuven, Belgium. I fear that I basically take the same shots every time I'm there, but for an American who doesn't get to Europe often, it's so full of charm, age, and character. Hopefully you can enjoy them.

A Euro or More

My last trip to Belgium; I like these photos quite a bit, and find it interesting to realize that I took them in my colleagues' "back-yard." I wonder what they'd find if they came to my town, and how I'd think of their images.

A Daily Story

Gritty City

As any photography book or magazine will tell you, one of the least-explored photographic locations is usually your own city. This is a compilation of a few shots I associate with the more "raw" side of any city.

Frankenleg

October will be 2 years since the horrible happening. These are pictures taken a few days after the 3rd surgery on my right leg. It'll never be as good as new, but just yesterday I sprinted for the first time since that fateful day. What a blessing to be able to use it so much, especially given the surgeon warned me they might have to amputate.

Plants and Animus

When in Chicago, I almost always will take a trip to the local dog beach for the spirit-uplifting antics. To round out the album, there is also a cat. And some plants (which cats like to eat and play with).
