reve fever
There's nothing deep here. But I like wordplay, and recently I've been impressed with some of the palindromes I've come up with. For the record, these are all ones I've come up with without starting from anyone else's work (the longest I've ever seen published is Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog!).
So here is a sampling:
- Stop not on pots -- used when teaching driver's ed. and there is cookware in the road - don't stop on them
- Strap on no parts -- used when someone is building a spaceship and just wants to attach critical components with velcro
- Sub-par rap bus -- used when referring to Snoop Dogg's 1997 Dodge Caravan
- He crams Marc, eh? -- used when it looks like someone is of the type who might stuff another into a small space
- Wal-Mart tram law -- trust me, you don't want to break this law
- Star rats -- refers to my soon-to-be pets
- Even Eve never even even Eve -- used when stuttering
- No snap-on pans. Snap no pans on? -- a conversation between two very witty verbalists
I'm going to try to use these in everyday conversation. Noitasrevnoc yadyreve ni eseht esu ot yrt ot gniog mi.
