dreams come true?

   Over the last 2 years, it's seemed that from time to time my dreams have come true, or my truth has become dreams. That's actually not a correct way of describing it, but hopefully I've grabbed your attention (thanks, 5th grade English teachers!).
   Here's what happens: I'll be talking with someone and something that gets mentioned, say a wedding for example, triggers a memory. I start to talk about this memory, or I prepare to interject something unique and interesting into the conversation, but then I realize I'm not sure if my memory is accurate. Once in a while I'm unable to differentiate between whether I'm remembering something from a dream, something that happened in real life, or my brain has implanted a memory of a dream - perhaps I never even had the dream!
   I've noticed this mostly when I want to quote a statistic I think I've heard or read, but it also happens with conversations I think I've had. Those are relative minutiae in the area of false memories, but it nevertheless puzzles me and stays my tongue time and time again.
