the age of cable

Random blast from the past. My mom was at some government building in the Illinois town where I grew up, and came across this marker drawing. It was framed and hanging in the hall of said building.

Laying Cable for Cable on Cable

I drew this picture. When I was probably 10 years old, we were assigned to draw something for a town calendar that would feature marker drawings from my grade-school. For some reason "cable TV" was one of the eligible topics, and I masterfully created a mind-enchanting self-referential piece of art. It's a drawing of a TV showing a cable TV program where workers are laying cable for cable TV. Something like "Dirty Jobs," I suppose.
   So enjoy!
